Juan H. Montier III, President of Montier Designs, has been a leader in the Atlanta design and gourmet cooking communities for more than 16 years. Juan combines his formal architectural training with his interior design skills and gourmet cooking acumen to offer clients, enthusiasts and friends a unique, holistic lifestyle consultancy.

Prior to founding Montier Designs, Juan was the co-founder of Montier's, a gourmet food preparation and delivery service that delivered meals, wine and floral arrangements to some of Atlanta's most prestigious households. As a proprietor of Montier's, Juan prepared meals for Ambassador Andrew Young, Alexis Herman, former Secretary of Labor, U.S. Congressman David Scott and Sandra and Lloyd Baccus, quintessential collectors of African American Art. Even since beginning Montier Designs, Juan continues to prepare meals and cater parties for a select group of high-profile friends and clients, including superstar Diana Ross and the Cosby Family.

As an interior designer, Juan has been featured in the Druid Hills Home Tour. His other accolades include the National Lighting Guild's Award for design. In addition, Montier Designs was a member of the design team that received the Dupont Antron Nylon award for the Turner Broadcasting's Corporate Headquarters.

Juan's award-winning work in interiors include projects for the Disney Corporation, where he developed conceptual drawings for Disney Imagineers, Inc.; as well as projects for the Drake Hotel in Chicago and the Mayflower Hotel in Washington D.C, where he was the principle designer. His work in home-renovation work in Atlanta's historic Druid Hills has earned Montier Designs a place in the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation's published Book, J. Neil Reid Architect by William R. Mitchell, Jr.

Juan received his Bachelor of Architecture from Kansas State University and continued Graduate studies at Texas A&M University. A native of Shaker Heights, Ohio, Juan is an active member of the 100 Black Men of Atlanta and resides in Atlanta, with his wife Judith and sons Juan IV and Austin.

Juan H. Montier III, has been a designer for almost twenty years and a member of the Atlanta design community for over fourteen years. Among his many accomplishments, Mr. Montier was a feature designer for the 1996 Centennial Olympic Venue, the Nations Bank Temporary Facilities, the Olympic Village Health Club, the Main Dinning Tent and the Media-Press Center.

Mr. Montier has been honored with several awards. In 1996 he was a member the team that received the Dupont Antron Nylon Award for his work on the Turner Broadcasting Headquarters. He was a featured designer for the 1997 Druid Hills Home Tour. He was honored with the regional designer award form The National Lighting Guild.
